General
Are all the jobs on the israemploy site posted in English?
With the increasing number of native Israeli's and returning residents joining our community there will be some postings in Hebrew. These will usually require the ability to communicate in English as well.
Similarly we have a large number of French & Spanish members and we will try to cater for them as well.
Are all the jobs posted on this site in Israel?
In most cases they are. Very ocassionaly some commuter jobs in Europe may appear.
How often are new jobs added to the site?
New jobs are added almost daily and we are currently publishing in the region of 1500 jobs per month.
Will I continue to receive mail from Yahoo Groups?
For the time being there may a limited amount of job opportunities that we still post on the Yahoo Groups list. All these job opportunities will also appear on this website. The Yahoo Groups list will gradually be phased out.
Is my Yahoo Groups username and password valid for this site?
No - the username is not valid and you need to register separately to use this site.
Is my username and password from your previous website valid still valid?
No - the password & username are not valid and you need to
register again to use this new site.
Is it possible to schedule a meeting or phone call with you?
Only premium members receive the services of a personal advisor with whom they can meet, correspond, or talk with. In this respect please note that we are not a placement or manpower agency.
Latest Jobs
How do I subscribe to the latest job list?
If you wish to receive the job list fill in your email address in the space provided on the home page and click GO. You will receive an email with a verification link which you must confirm.
How often are the latest job lists sent out?
On average you can expect to receive 4 to 5 emails a week
I have subscribed but I am not getting the latest Job Listings
In some cases these updates may have been filtered in to your SPAM mail. This is entirely beyond our control and should be taken up with your internet service provider. Please also check that your ISP has not blocked mailings from israemploy.
Don't forget to ask your service provider to add the e-mail address, info@israemploy.net, to the white list of your Anti-SPAM filter service.
How do unsubscribe from the latest job listings?
If you wish to stop receiving the latest job listings mails - click on the unsubscribe link at the foot of a latest job listings email.
Membership
Do I need to become a member of israemploy?
Is there a fee for the israemploy service?
There is no fee to search jobs, but in order to use the service to its full extent and apply for jobs you will need to become either a
standard or
premium member of israemploy.
Can I pay my membership when I find a job?
israemploy© is formally and legally constituted as a non profit organization that provides services to its members.
Our membership rates are amongst the most competative in the local market.
How do I change my password?
Log in to your account using your email address and current password. Click on the green tab called "edit profile" Create your new password in the field called "update password", then in the next field confirm your new password and then click on the update icon at the foot of the page.
How do I log in to my account?
Can I transfer my membership to a family member or friend?
Memberships are exclusive and can not be transferred.
Can my membership be frozen till a future date?
Memberships are for specific periods with options ranging from 2 weeks to 12 months. As such our policy is not to allow for paid memberships to be frozen or held over.

What are the payment options for becoming a member?
Membership payment can be made by Credit Card or Check or Bank Deposit/Bank Transfer

Payment by Credit Card:
We accept most credit cards. Some Diners Club cards may not be recognized. Due to their high commission charges we do not accept Paypal.
On the membership form select the "credit card" radio button and complete your credit card details.
Your personal information is protected by our SSL certificate.
Payment by Check:
You should then issue a check in shekels payable to "ISRAEMPLOY" for one of the exact subscription amounts and send it by regular post to:

If you had decided to pay by check and then changed your mind and now wish to pay by credit card simply log in with your chosen credentials and then go to "my account" and select "pay by credit card instead"

Why was my credit card declined?
Possible reasons failed credit card transaction
You may have tried to use a card issued by DINERS Club - Some DINERS club cards can not be processed at this time.

You have engaged the number lock on your keyboard

You may have incorrectly entered the card number or expiry date.

Since February 1st 2009 there is a requirement for further card verification, this is called the CVV number. The CVV (Card Verification Value) code is a 3 or 4-digit security code instituted by credit card companies, in an attempt to reduce fraud.

In some cases you may need to contact your credit card provider to verify the reason for the failed transaction.
How long does it take to process a check payment?
A lot depends on the postal service. Once we receive the payment it can and will be processed immediately.
Will I get a receipt for my membership payment?
Yes - Once you log in simply click on "My Account" and you will see a record of all your payments. Printable receipts are generated by clicking on the link "receipt" against each payment.
Can I get a refund on an unexpired membership that I will not use?

How do I renew my membership?
There are no automatic renewals however you will receive a reminder notification by email shortly before your membership expires.
To renew your membership:
- Log in to your account with your email and password
- Go to the green tab marked "My Account"
- Click on "Renew my Membership"
- Select the desired membership period and payment option
You can renew your membership by credit card or check.
Job Applications
How do I apply for a job?
In order to gain access to the contact information and apply for a job you need to first become a member of israemploy.
In order to view the contact information you must be logged in to the site with your email address and password.
As a member you can apply for any job.
Once you are logged in to your account every job listing will have one or more of the following:
- Apply now button
- Fax number
- Phone number
- Link to apply via website
You also have the option to save a standard cover letter on-line or upload one from your computer.
Similarly you can apply for jobs by attaching your online CV/resume or by uploading one from your computer.
How can I be certain that an employer receives my job application?
When you apply for a job by email, you can check the CC checkbox, and you will get a copy of the email which the employer receives.
Posting Jobs
How do I add a new job listing to site?
Please go to: https://secure.israemploy.net/post_job.php and follow the on-line help menu.
When adding a new job listing to the site if you provide your email address in the last field it will not appear on the job listing itself. You will however receive a confirmation email at this address of our having received the job listing.
Afer posting a new job you will always get a screen message giving you the job listing number with the prefix IE
How do I edit,modify or delete a job listing I added to the site?

To remove or edit a job listing please email us your instructions at info@israemploy.net, quoting the "Job Title" job listing number e.g. "Admin Asst" ref: IE18192.

What is the best screen resolution for viewing this site?
1280 x 960 pixels
Which browser works best with this site?
The site has been tested and functions well with Internet Explorer Versions 6 + Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
Is the israemploy site secure and does it have an SSL certificate?
Yes - all pages that carry sensitive information are protected by our SSL certificate as represented by the "lock symbol" that appears on your screen as follows:
IE6: bottom-right - IE7: near the top - Firefox: bottom-left - Safari: Top right
How do I add israemploy to my list of trusted sites?
Right click your internet explorer icon on desktop
Click on properties
Select security tab
Highlight trusted sites
Click on sites button
Add - " israemploy.net " in the field where the cursor is
Click OK and Exit
Why do some pages take longer to load than others?
Both pages that are secure and results following a database search may take a few seconds longer to load than a static page.
Troubleshooting
Do I need to have pop ups enabled?
If you do not have pop-ups enabled on your browser, the site may not display as designed.
How do I make sure "pop ups" are enabled
To enable your browser for pop-ups follow the steps that apply to the browser you are using.
Note: Some security software and toolbars may also block pop-ups.

From Tools point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click on Pop-up Blocker Settings
Type www.israemploy.net in the box 'Address of Web site to allow' and click Add
Set the Filter Level to Medium: Block most automatic pop-ups

Select the Web Features icon
Ensure Block Pop-up Windows is not checked
Click OK
